Itchy Clowns Cabaret 2026 will be hosted by Rochester fav and the inimitable Eno Okung!

Curated by Eno and festival producers Katherine Marino and Ashley Jones Itchy26 showcases new and experimental short acts created by local and regional artists. Featured pieces will cross genres between contemporary clown, circus, and physical theatre.

Our aim is to foster the growth of these artists and their new works, expose Rochester audiences to diverse forms of clown and theatre, and bring artists together for creative development, conversation and collaboration.

FISH is a one-woman clown show about a fish who wants to be a person. The fish must learn to walk, talk, and - the most person thing of all - learn to navigate the crippling anxieties of being alive in this stupid flesh suit. In order to get their wings, an angel has been tasked to save all women, everywhere, in just 60 minutes. POEMS FOR GOD is an immersive clown solo show that sits "on the knife edge of humor and horror” (Orlando Sentinel). Multi award-winning Toronto-based freak Victoria Watson Sepejak takes the stage with dreamlike physical comedy and deadpan absurdism. Brace yourself for this theatrical madhouse featuring roller skates, rainbow snow, and disgustingly powerful woman-saving antics.
