    Join us for the opening night of RocHaha 2025!

    The audience favorite of 2024 is back with a whole new set of clowns Itching to be on stage. So come help them scratch the itch by playing the invaluable role of Audience Member!  

    Itchy Clowns Cabaret is a curated by Katherine Marino and Ashley Jones to showcase new and experimental short acts created by local and regional artists. Featured pieces will cross genres between contemporary clown, circus, and physical theatre.

    Our aim is to foster the growth of these artists and their new works, expose Rochester audiences to diverse forms of clown and theatre, and bring together a host of artists for creative development, conversation and collaboration.

Hailed as one of the greatest clowns of all time, Avner has appeared on and off Broadway with his hit show Exceptions to Gravity, played the endearing Holy Man in The Jewel of the Nile, and even had his dummy nominated for a Tony Award in Ghetto. His work transcends language and culture, delighting audiences around the globe.

    This special performance features Avner alongside surprise guest artists, some brilliant clowns from around the US. Expect laughter, wonder, and the unexpected as Avner and company remind us why live performance is pure magic.

    Root for local favorites Avi Pryntz-Nadworny, Katherine Marino, and Ashley Jones as they whip up sheer madness that is not fringe anymore; weave got the jokes, you bring the laughs (locks of them).
